The Light of Hope Center LOHC is a non-profit 501 C3 Christian shelter located in the South Asian Country of Bangladesh. LOHC provides education, nutrition and a safe and loving environment for 20 formerly destitute young girls ranging in age from 6 to 13. When we pulled our girls from the street, they all belonged to the lowest social class of their society, were shunned by their people, malnourished, uneducated, subjected to the dangers of the street and were completely unaware of their value as a human being. All are former beggars who are used to living in a constant state of survival. Yet, even in these worst of conditions, something shines through their eyes, a glimmer of hope and a desire to be loved, silent and profound emotion that wells up from their souls. They are the forgotten people of our world who yearn to be productive members of it.

LOHC Mission: Is to continue our efforts in Bangladesh by expanding the operations of successful LOHC safe-haven centers where children in need can receive education, healing, love, encouragement and an opportunity for personal and spiritual growth.

LOHC Vision: Is to significantly contribute to global healing by creating LOHC centers - an oasis of love, healing and education for destitute children - in all areas of the world where poverty, disease and suffering presently exist.
